He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Jornlin and Viola Jornlin (Opie); and his siblings, Maurice Jornlin, Jr. (Duke) and Shirley Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Lois Mae Melton; his children, Kirk Jornlin (Valerie) of Belton, TX and Kim Schau (Anthony) of North Liberty, IA.; his grandchildren, Lori Jornlin, Samantha Jornlin, Kia Wagner (Drew), Alexis Schau and Hunter Schau; his great grandchildren, Landon Jornlin and Everlee Wagner; and his nephew Ronald Hoffman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Earlville United Presbyterian Church, the American Legion Post 549, or the USS LST 325 Ship Memorial, at 610 NW Riverside Dr., Evansville, IN 47708.
