Hughes of Earlville, Illinois, born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Hughes and Albertha M. Hughes (Weier); his sister Karen Misener; his nephews, Eric Misener and Craig Hughes; and his brother-in-law Charles Terrill.
He is survived by: his wife Diann D. Sturdevant of Earlville, IL; his children, Michelle Finnell (Jim Olson) of Somonauk, IL, Heather Hughes of Oswego, IL and Jason Hughes (Jennifer) of Meredosia, IL; his grandchildren, Alicia Veltri (Joseph), Owen Olson (Faith), Bailey Olson (LeAnn), Evan Hughes, Samantha Timmons (Clay), Kendall Hughes, Brooklyn Kunkel, Morgan Kunkel, Cannon Hughes, Judah Hughes and Silas Hughes; his great grandchildren, Joey, Cooper Veltri, Aubree, Averee Olson and Maverick Timmons; his sister Jane Bratton (Tom); and also, Matt, Jade, Mark, Jodeen, Gary and Nancy.
