She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rider and Zelda Rider (Kleckner); her siblings, Helen Algiere, Peggy Fassig and William "Bill" Rider; her brothers-in-law, Jerry Klatt, Duane Fassig and Howard Schou; and her son-in-law Ray Richardson.
She is survived by: her husband Harold "Swede" Svendsen; her children, Jeff Svendsen (Joetta) of West Brooklyn, Char Hawbaker (Dean) of Mt. Dora, FL, Larry Svendsen (Carol) of Shabbona and Stacy Richardson of Earlville; her sister Barb Klatt; her siblings-in-law, Paula Rider, Patricia Schou and Charles Svendsen (Anna); her grandchildren, Ashley Hawbaker (Ron), Jessica Olson (Brent), Lucas Svendsen, Lindsay Svendsen, J. Adam Svendsen (Alyssa), Kaylie Pratt (Jake) and Joel Svendsen; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Madyson, Kora and Benjamin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rollo Congregational United Church of Christ.
