Tuftie of Earlville, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Tuftie and Myrtle Tuftie (Kirkus); his stepmother Alice; his wife Joan Mitchell; and his siblings, Mervin, Robert, Fremont Tuftie, Marge Cantlin and Lois Peterson.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Tuftie (Donna) of Oak Forest, Randy Tuftie (Nancy) of Marseilles and Steve Tuftie (Diana) of Harding; his grandchildren, Amanda Schmitz, Erica Gutesha, Susan Tuftie and Joshua Stillwell; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Schmitz, Landon Schmitz, Jake Stillwell, Trey Stillwell and Myah Stillwell.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a charity to be determined at a later date.
