With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles David Thaxton of Earlville, Illinois, born in Corning, Arkansas, who passed away on March 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Thaxton and Mary Agnes (Delaney); his wife Kay Swille; and his sister Shirley Tyler. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Riggleman (Ryan) and Mindy Scarber (Richard); his grandchildren, Christian, Sydney, Kayla and Owen; his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Paisley and Laken; and his siblings, Curtis Thaxton, Howard Thaxton, Marvine Dortch and Susie Thomasson. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Holly Riggleman and will be accepted at the funeral home.
