He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Botts and Anna Botts (Clover); his wife Marilyn Gast; his son Steven Botts; his siblings, John Botts (Ruth), Louie Botts (Dee), Elberta Olsen (Harold), Lois Botts and Everrett Botts; his son-in-law Carl Planthaber; and his pet Dora.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Planthaber and Diane Lampe (Gary); his granddaughter Christine McKenna (Lloyd); his great grandchild Craig Planthaber; his sisters, Lola Burkhart and Lorretta Hoffman; and also, Cherie Planthaber, Cinda Bly (Tim) and Stacy Datti (Joseph). He is also survived by two daughters and Garrett Lampe; three great great-grandchildren.
