He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Gosteli and Margaret Gosteli (Hehman); his wife Joanne H. Humbert; his brother Merwin Brent Gosteli; and his siblings-in-law, Dale, Gary Humbert, Bill Sullens and Mary Grace Shapland of Herscher, IL..
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Nelson of Dwight and Brenda McAlister (Chris) of Peoria Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Paige Russell (Sean) of Braidwood and Tod Nelson (Tara Ceylor) of Forsyth; his siblings, Roger Gosteli (Phyllis) of Pontiac, Sandy Sullens of Fairbury and Lori Turner (Marvin) of Pontiac; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ohlendorf (Bill) of Bloomington, IL, Carol Gosteli of Flanagan and Marilyn Humbert of Washington. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his name may be left to the First United Congregational Church of Christ, OSF Hospice, Evenglow Healthcare Center in Pontiac, IL or the American Cancer Society.
