Richard Sparrow Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2022, at the age of 79, Richard Sparrow of Dwight, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Sparrow and Thalia Sparrow (Scott); his brother Andy Sparrow; and his siblings-in-law, Marsha Sparrow, Marilyn Rygh, Chuck Frazier and John Rygh.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Sparrow (Michele), Rick Sparrow (Jeanene) and Laurie Turner (Mike); his grandchildren, Ty Sparrow of Dwight, Hayley Sparrow of Dwight and Cody Sparrow of Dwight; his close friend John "Richard" Spaulding (Diana) of California; and his sister-in-law Carole Frazier of Shorewood, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial's in honor of Richard may be made to the Prairie Creek Public Library, the Wounded Warrior Project or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
