It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard L. Ward of Dwight, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria Ward (Peterson); his grandparents, Silas, Bernice Peterson, Donald and Mardelle Ward; and his brother-in-law Jerry M. Milton Sr..

He is survived by: his father Jerry L. Ward; his sister Pamela J. Milton of Dwight; his uncle John LeRoy Claypool of Morris; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to his sister, Pamela.
