He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pfeifer and Alma Pfeifer (Lippold); his granddaughter Melissa Pfeifer; and his close friend Catherine Tucek. He is survived by: his sons, Greg, Allen (Laurie), Jim (Debra) and Dean Pfeifer (Martha); his grandchildren, Matthew (Jen), Derrick (Shelley), Jeffrey, Kurt (Christen), Keith (Lisa), Daniel (Stefanie), Angela Clark (Cory), Jodi Briggs (Brian), Justin (Jennifer), Stephanie Maddox (Johnnie), Rebecca and Amy Veselak (Dan); his great grandchildren, Clay, Connor, Raegan, Zach, Gwyneth, Tarah, Cam, Kolten, Kael, Ruger, Lilly, Maggie, Wyatt, Hayden, Blake, Owen, Abbigail, Keegan, Caleb, Tanner (Makenzie), Chloe, Kate, Cali, James, Dean (Katie), Brad (Destiny), Kade, Kaylee, Melia, Max, Jack and Sam; and his great great grandchild Tatum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Ken's name to the Grundy County Housing Authority.
