He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Oathout; his son Delbert Gene Oathout; and his brothers, Eddie Oathout, Art Oathout and Gilbert Oathout.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Oathout (Leffler); and his children, Barbara Cook of Bloomington and Kenny Ray Oathout (Karen) of Custer Park, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Kenneth's honor to First Church of the Nazarene.
