He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Qualen and Elisabeth Von Qualen of Dwight, Illinois.; his wife Shirley Von Qualen; his son Evan Von Qualen; his former wife Carey; his grandsons, Hudson and Dashel; and his sister Karen Von Qualen-Finely (Jim). He was also cherished by cousins, niece and several nephews in Georgia; and extended family.
