He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph Verdun Sr. and Loretta Marie Verdun (Pedersen); his wife Karen Ann Verdun; and his sister Mary Lou Stadel. He is survived by: his children, Brent Verdun (Sue), Brad Verdun (Judy) and Beth Gerdes (Terry); his grandchildren, Ashley Verdun, Haley Meyers (Luke), Tyler Verdun (Nicole), Kirsten Trout (Laura), Ryan Verdun (Megan), Kyle Finch (Rachel) and Kelsey Gerdes; his great grandchildren, Austin, Cooper Finch and Taylor Peterson; his brother Larry Verdun; his brother-in-law Leo Stadel; his nieces, Toni Stadel and Terri Post (David); and his nephew Patrick Stadel (Renee).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Patric Catholic Church (100 W Mazon Ave, Dwight, IL 60420).
