It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher M. Jirus of Dwight, Illinois, born in Winfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jeanette Bennett (Doug) and Michael Jirus; his brothers, Jeremy Jirus of Sullivan, MO and Nathan Jirus of Pontiac, IL; his half-brothers, Mike Jirus of Sullivan, MO and Matthew Jirus of Sullivan, MO; and his stepbrothers, Daryl Bennett (Barb) of Pontiac, IL and Brian Bennett (Tarah) of Pontiac, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
