We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2021, at the age of 88, Robert L. Vormezeele of Durand, Illinois, born in Muscatine, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Vormezeele and Clementine Vormezeele; and his siblings, Clara, Margaret, Donald and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Walsh; his children, Ellen Vormezeele, Jane Poirier (Richard), Sarah Loofbourrow (Dennis), Francis Vormezeele (Joni), John Vormezeele (Chris) and Beth Kircher (Mike); and his grandchildren, Rich, Robbie, Sarah, Claire, Rebecca, Valerie, Joe, Emily, Erin, Mark, Allison, Karly, Shawnna, Katherine, Bridget, Maria and Theresa. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
