With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Pelter (Durand, Illinois), born in Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Pelter and Pearl Pelter (Scanlan); his siblings, Dorothy Walters and Bill Pelter; and his son-in-law Christopher McGarr.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Brockhaus; and his children, Jeanne Haderlein (Bill), Sharon McGarr, Julie Pelter (Keith Hughes) and Michael Pelter (Colin O'Donnell).
