With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Pehl (Durand, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Karen left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stucky and Genevieve Stucky; and her siblings, Harlan Stucky (Lois), Marguerite Keith (Walt), Doris Taber (Ray) and Patsy Ritchart (Royce).
She is survived by: her husband Edward Pehl; her children, Jeff Pehl (Heather), Brenda Brady (Steve) and Chad Pehl (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Jeff, Steven Pehl, Megan Pangus, Zachary Pehl, Alex Omernik, Brenda, Chad, Shawn Pehl, Logan Pehl, Bryce Harmon, Payton Blum, Xavier Coplien and Treyton Leutenegger. She is also survived by seven Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McCorkle Funeral Home- Durand Chapel (101 E Main St, Durand, IL 61024). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
