She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Gatto and Florence Gatto (Rissman); and her grandson Cody. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Stender; her children, Paul Stender (Irma), Joanne Powell (Timothy), Carol Camerino (Greg) and Kathryn Cada (Al); her grandchildren, Joseph, Bridget, Arthur, John, Dulsea, Emma, Angela, Noah, Michael, Nicholas, Holly, Dominic, Grace and Jillian; and her brothers, Steve Gatto (Jean) and John Gatto (Ruth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to cancer research.
