He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Bliss and Gladys Bliss (Ziegler); his son Jeffrey Fred Bliss; his grandson Robert Byl; his brother Ed Bliss; the mother of his children Margery Cotey (Bliss); and his sister-in-law Lil Olson (Cascio).
He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Christy Byl (Gavin) of Durand, IL, Connie Saylor of Loves Park, IL and David Bliss (Nancy) of Durand, IL; his stepdaughter Teresa Walling (Matthew) of Rockford, IL; his brother Dennis Bliss (Marlene) of Rockton, IL; and his brother-in-law Vic Cascio (Cindi) of Los Lunas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandsons.
