It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores I. Ward of Durand, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Winnie and Emma Winnie (Lind); her husband Carl Ward Sr.; her sisters, Florence Udell and Mary Helen Winnie; her daughter Kristine Blake; her children-in-law, Donna Ward, Tom Boan and Darryl Blake; and her great great grandchild Kyler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Boan of Ridott and Becky Pederson (Gary) of Durand; and her grandchildren, Carl Jr. of Loran, Jennifer Dailey (Tom) of Morrison, CO, Patrick Lyons (Jennifer) of Thornton, CO, Richard Lyons (Debbie) of Catawba, NC, Carrie Martz (Ron) of Juda, WI, Tracy Bolen of Texas and Jamie Schmidt (Jason) of Dixon, IL..
