He is survived by: his wife Laura Maurizzi (Wesdell); his children, Carmelina Maurizzi, Lilianna Maurizzi and Gianna-Marie Maurizzi; his parents, Philip J. Maurizzi and Marilyn P. Maurizzi (Wells); his siblings, Molly P. Folts (Andy) and David M. Maurizzi; his nephews, Thomas Folts and Hudson Folts; his niece Emma Folts; his in-laws, Don and Kathy Wesdell; his brother-in-law Mike Wesdell; and his grandfather-in-law Ruth Wesdell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
