He was predeceased by: his wife LaVerne; his parents, Edgar and Imogene; his nephew Donald C. Odum Jr.; his brother-in-law Sterling "Arnold" Robinson; and his nephews, Donald C. Odum, Jr. and Christopher Robinson.
He is survived by: his sons, William "Will" Odum (Kelly) of Millstadt, IL and Matthew "Matt" Odum (Lisa Lewis) of East Carondelet, IL; his grandchildren, Casey Odum (Mallory) of Millstadt, IL, Connor Odum (Amanda) of Millstadt, IL, Wyatt Odum of St. Louis, MO and Amelia Odum of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchild Grayson Sterling Odum of Millstadt, IL; his siblings, Don Odum (Kathleen) of Dupo, IL and Jackie Smith (Jim) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister-in-law Charlotte Robinson of Cape Girardeau, MO; his friend Karen Crank of Columbia, IL; and his cousin Marion Odum of Collinsville, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many life long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
