He was predeceased by: his wife Irene H. Heine; and his siblings, Ardell Heine (Jean), Buddy Heine (Ginny), Rita Deterding (Les), Dorothy Georgen (Arthur), Judy and Anna Marie.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Lyle Wessel; his children, Linda Sargent of Dupo, IL, Kifar Yosemite (Linda) of Halfway, OR, Sharon Canaley (Jerry) of Murphysboro, IL, Richard Heine (Debbie) of Waterloo, IL and Carol Cronin (Brad) of Cahokia, IL.; his sisters, Verona Schwartz (Melvin) of Ruma, IL and Ruth Ann Wessel of Waterloo, IL.; and his grandchildren, Melissa Schmidt (Kenneth), Danny Canaley (Lindsey), Mallory Pyle (Dan), Ben Canaley (Abigail), Kayla Jarillo (Jose) and Kajel Heine. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
