He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Houston and Anna Mary Bowlin (Perkins); the mother of his children Janet Sue Bowlin (Klein); his son Larry Bowlin; his grandson Jesse Dakota Bowlin; his siblings, Timothy Houston Bowlin and Barbara Blanche Bowlin; his uncle Sylas Bowlin; and his son-in-law Bill Bowlin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Bowlin (Kene Turcott) of Godfrey and Sheila Bowlin of Dupo, Illinois; his grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Dylan, Sean and Maddie; his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Meyer Bowlin and Kim Bowlin; his close friends, Bruce, Ana, Rich, Tom, Samson, Glenn, Valerie, Charlie and Melanie "Hammer" Crispin; and his pet Pearl. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
