He was predeceased by: his mother Cynthia Pennington; his grandparents, Dorothy Scheppelman, Thomas, Patricia Manning, John and Betty Pennington; and his mother-in-law Tonya Agnew.

He is survived by: his wife Angel South; his children, Larry Scheppelman, III, Mackenzie Scheppelman and Kaden Scheppelman; his father Larry Scheppelman, Sr.; his stepfather Bob Pennington (Rachel); his father-in-law Dave Agnew; and his siblings, Steven Scheppelman (Hope), Patricia Garcia (Joey), Tina Willis, Amanda Gutierrez (Rafael), Travis "T. J." Scheppelman (Kisha) and Lee Peniington.
