With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Atwater of Dunlap, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora Atwater and Otis Atwater. He is survived by: his wife Martha Shay (Marti); his brother Donald Atwater of Warsaw; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Campus (Sam) of Elgin, Illinois.; and his extended family, Susan Payne (Mark), LouAnn McArtor (Mark), Andy Atwater (Karen), Joe Atwater (Linda), Joe Campus (Vanessa), Beth Burghgraef (Brian) and Jody Verwolf (Brandon).

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Peoria or American Heart Association.
