He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Edward and Marie Estelle Herrmann (O'Connor); his brother Ross; his siblings-in-law, Bob Brushwyler, Ron Wall and Blanche Wall; his son-in-law Joseph Maurer; and his great-nephews, Andrew and Kaden Wall.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Brian Herrmann (Mary) of Eagle Grove, IA, Melody Maurer of Clearwater, FL and Darin Herrmann (Shelly) of Peoria, IL.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Illinois Cancer Center, Peoria, IL or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford.
