He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Gilkeson (Harnish); his children, Kyle Gilkeson (Nicole) of Dunlap and Krista Gress (Steven) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Atlas, Arya, Sophia, Hannah, Olivia, Lilliana and Zachariah; and his siblings, Frank Gilkeson (Holly) of Georgia, Barbara Gilkeson (Gary Sloan) of California, Ruth Nelsen (Terry) of North Carolina, John Gilkeson (Barbara) of Peoria and Jeff Gilkeson of Virginia.
