He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Ehnle and Lydia Ehnle (Eberle); his siblings, Roland Ehnle and Alice Williamson; his son Douglas Ehnle; his brothers-in-law, Patrick Morrissey and John Cox; and his nephews, Joe Cox and Kevin Ehnle.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Jo Morrissey; his children, Tony (Laura), Suzette (Mark) and Steve (Tammy); his grandchildren, Erin (Garret), Paige (Jon), Christian, Kelsey (Jeremy), Taylor, Sierra, Brock (Paige), Ridge, Slade, Ethan and Emily; his great grandchildren, Hugh Brown, Landon Brown and Julian Bassett; his siblings, Eleanor Dunn (George), Eldon Ehnle (Mary Jane), Dean Ehnle (Carol) and Joel Ehnle (Nora); his sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Christie, Jeanne Porter (Bud), Sharon Morrissey and Carol Ehnle; and his reliable sidekick Roxie.
