Slankard of Dunlap, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Earl Slankard and Elizabeth Slankard (Biard); his sister Mary Slankard; and his brother-in-law David Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Judith Nelson; his children, Christine Chase (Brian) of Plantation, Jim Slankard (Missi) of Moline, Nicholas Zosky of East Peoria and Katy Apostolou (Andy) of Kathleen, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Brynna Slankard, Hayden and Mason Apostolou; and his brothers, Arthur Slankard (Judi) of New Zealand and Albert Slankard (Janice) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
