It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leroy Palm (Dundee, Illinois), born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Palm and Gladys Palm (Zierke); his daughter Karen Palm-Hale-Hagen; and his siblings, Dorothy Palm and Carl Palm Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Colborn (Colborn); his daughters, Lisa Guelzo (Stephen) of Lake, Kristine Hirst of Farmington, MN and Leanne Bishop (James) of Eagan, MN.; his grandchildren, Kathryn Anderson (Ryan), Robert Guelzo, Ryan Hirst (Ayda), Kara Hale, Aaron Hirst, Daniel Guelzo, Gregory Guelzo, Brittany Hirst, Andrew Bishop, Allyson Bishop and Hannah Bishop; and his siblings, Jack of Woodstock, IL, Edward of Miami, FL, Walter of Woodstock, IL and Nancy Tinburg (Vern) of Woodstock, IL.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
In Lieu of flowers, family requests all memorials be made to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, St. Jude's Hospital, or any other children's charity of your choice.
