He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smallwood and Mary Smallwood (Graham); his wife Joan E. Storer; his siblings, Summers Marion Smallwood (Eleanor), Marie Zella Duffek (Jack), William Graham Smallwood (Marie), Helen Elaine Allen (Glenn), Kenneth Duane Smallwood, Donald Lynn Smallwood (Marybelle) and Harold Gene Smallwood (Jeannie); and his son-in-law Daniel Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Clinton Smallwood (Janet) of Nora Springs, Iowa, Carla Patterson (Craig) of Olney, IL, Wendy Johnson of Flora, IL and Glenda Croegaert (Paul) of Richmond, TX; his grandchildren, Mark (Jessica), Joshua (Christi), Jacob Smallwood and Hunter Johnson; his great grandchildren, Camerin Childers (Andrew), Calieb, Kathaleen, Kaileigh, Clinton Dean Smallwood, Caidence Carter, Abby, Wyatt, Audrey, Jon, Charly and Ava Smallwood; and his sister-in-law Donna Smallwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Good Samaritan of Richland County, or the Senior Citizens Center of Olney, IL.
