Wilbur Hemmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbur Hemmer (Du Quoin, Illinois), who passed away on March 20, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hemmer and Mary Hemmer (Wendling); and his siblings, Betty Graff, Marie Mozi, Delbert Hemmer and Edward Hemmer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Wheatley of Du Quoin and Marcella Hayes (Ralph) of Pinckneyville; his brother-in-law Frank Graff of Carbondale; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Miller, Pam Loiacono, Carolyn Engel, Marla McNulty, Joyce Sprenger, Tracy Cicardi, Charley Mozi, Tim Wheatley, Tom Wheatley and David Wheatley. He is also survived by nieces, great nephews and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Cemetery or Catholic Religious Retirement Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
