With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Alan of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Myra Born, Jr. (Noakes); his stepfather Ray Gant; his grandparents, Melton, Reatha Noakes, Henry Born, Sr. and Dora Morber; his mother-in-law Paulette Avery; and his son-in-law Jakeb Patterson.
He is survived by: his father Henry Born,; his daughter Emily Born Patterson (Brett Reiger) of Benton; his stepmother Margie Born, Jr. of Du Quoin; and his stepsiblings, Brett Thomas of Du Quoin, Amanda Evans of Mt. Vernon and Donna Reese of Du Quoin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
