It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ruth Henson (Du Quoin, Illinois), who passed away on December 2, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Robinson and Mary Robinson (Neville); and her siblings, Mary Robinson Miller, Raymond Finney, Jr., Loretta Combs, George Finney, Wanda Wilce and Richard Finney.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Lou Hopkins of Du Quoin, Clarence "Bones" Vanhoorebeke (Pam) of Du Quoin, Gary Robinson, Shirley Mae Adcock of Du Quoin, Jerry Henson of Christopher, Herschel Henson of Du Quoin and Linda Lou Downen (Kenneth) of Du Quoin; and her siblings, Otis Robinson of Florida, Bob Finney of San Antonio, TX, Norma McManus of Du Quoin, Carl Finney of Du Quoin, Wilma Bowers of Du Quoin and Charles Finney of Colorado. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
