Virginia L. Doolin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia L. Doolin of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Genesio and Irene Genesio (Smith); her former husband Donald C. Willi; her husband Gerald E. Doolin; her son Donald C. Willi, Jr.; her stepson James Doolin; and her siblings, Charles Genesio and Naomi Kimmel.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Crews (Tony) of Du Quoin, Gary Willi (Jill) of Lewisville, TX and Steve Willi of Du Quoin; her stepdaughters, Staci Doolin of Arizona and Robyn Miller of California; and her sister Marion Emling of Du Quoin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two step grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Friends may make memorials to Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life and will be accepted at the funeral home.
