Viola B. Emling Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola B. Emling (Du Quoin, Illinois), born in Perry, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2019 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Viola B. Emling to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Engelhardt and Anna B. Engelhardt (Albers); her spouse Robert Emling; and her brother Elmer Engelhardt. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Protz (Bill), Richard Emling (Pat) and Charles Emling; her niece Peggy Roberts (John); and her grandchildren, Megan Liwanag (Chris), Mandy Robinson (Dan), Jessica Martin (Andrew), Ryan Protz, Tyler Protz (Wendy), Brittany Willi (Kyle), Michael Roberts (Candi), Jeff Roberts (Rosie) and Amy Kuhlman. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Viola's wishes were that memorials be made to St. John's United Church of Christ in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
