Steven D. Betts Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven D. Betts of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 44. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven D. Betts to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Betts and Kathy Betts (Karnes); his grandparents, James, Junetta Betts (Dunmyer), Harold and Ruby Karnes (Tate); his aunts, Carol Karnes and Sherri Betts; his uncle Phillip Phelps; and his cousins, Amanda Viernum (Smith) and David Phelps.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Betts; his children, Dominica Hill (Joshua) of Ava, Seth Betts of Du Quoin, Landon Betts of Du Quoin and Brandon Scarber of Du Quoin; his grandson Liam Hill of Ava; his siblings, Scott Betts (Crystal) of Mt. Vernon and Sherry Tudor (Douglas) of Du Quoin; his nephew Brett Tudor (Maggi) of Oakdale; and his nieces, Danielle Betts (Michael Guillory) of Sulphur, LA, Brittany Tudor of Du Quoin and Kaylyn Betts of Du Quoin. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
