He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl H. Poe and Angie Poe (Rossi); and his daughter Chelsea Lynn Poe. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Moore; his daughters, Annie Daniels (Shawn) of Elkville and Tiffani Maddox (Daniel) of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Keagin Daniels, Seth Daniels, Everett Maddox, Elsie Maddox and Isla Maddox; his sister Carolyn Rice (Dennis) of Du Quoin; and his aunts, Lillian Pulke of Du Quoin and Catherine Feltmeyer of Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to Christian Fellowship School or Du Quoin School Weekend Warriors Program and will be accepted the day of the service at the church.
