He was predeceased by: his mother Lora Lea Porter (Short); and his brother Nick Porter. He is survived by: his father Roger Porter; his wife Toni Miller; his children, Chase Ryan Porter (Cassie) of Scott City, MO and Ellie Pierson (Tyler) of Vergennes; his grandchildren, Gage Williams and Tate Pierson; his stepmother Janet Porter of Du Quoin; his brothers, Dane Porter (Julie) of Du Quoin and Adam Porter (Jennifer) of Christopher; his stepsisters, Trisha Doerflein (Mark) of Pinckneyville and Shannon Owings (Ritchie) of Pinckneyville; his mother-in-law Debbie Green (Frank) of Du Quoin; and his brother-in-law Jason Miller of Herrin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
