She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Homer and Myrtle Delilah Conner (Morgan); her spouse Elza Dean Clapp; her siblings, Betty Gunhouse, Bobby Conner and Richard Conner; and her grandson Anthony James Hagene.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Clapp (Ann) of Du Quoin, Dianna Ridgeway (Lester) of Du Quoin, Cindy Winter (Ray) of Pinckneyville, Mary Mondoni (Chris) of Coello, Susan Hagene (Tom) of Pinckneyville and Laurie Edwards (Jason) of Du Quoin; and her siblings, Patsy Barrett of Benton and Sonny Conner of Grand Prairie, TX. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to the Old Du Quoin Cemetery or Old Du Quoin Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
