With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Dennis of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Ava, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Crain and Margaret Crain (Ditzler); and her husband Charles Dennis. She is survived by: her daughter Beth Stephens of Marion, IL; her grandchildren, Dustin Scholebo (Amber) of Benton, Jason Scholebo (Jessica Dautel) of Du Quoin and Jennifer Stephens of Chatham, IL; and her sister-in-law Amanda Hamburger of Herrin, IL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and her special friends - all the caregivers.

Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
