He is survived by: his children, Steven Bookstaver (Heather) of Du Quoin and Jodi Morefield of Du Quoin; his sister Judith Opp (Bob) of Tamaroa; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Rachel Goodnight of North Carolina, Benjamin Morefield of Du Quoin, Carson Bookstaver of Carbondale, Emily Morefield of Du Quoin and Steven C. Bookstaver of Du Quoin.
