He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Henson and Myrtle Henson (Smith); his son Roger Henson; and his siblings, Newell Henson Jr., Herschel Henson, Jerry Henson, Catherine Henson, Shirley Archer, Roger Henson, Dianna Reidelberger, Rick Taylor, Paul Taylor and Debby Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gassel; his daughters, Myrtle Henson (Shane Peeler) of Du Quoin and Katie Acosta (Julian) of Mesquite, TX; his grandchildren, Robert Acosta and Serenity Acosta; and his siblings, Janice Henson of Elkville, Fred (Harriet Taylor), Jack (Linda Taylor), Cathy Porter of Du Quoin, Vicky Taylor of Elkville, Tina (Ray Newton), Joe (Betty Taylor), Tom (Cathy Henson), William Henson of Du Quoin, Johnny Mack Brown, Charlie Brown and Bones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
