He is survived by: his children, Hilary Johnson (Bryan) of Du Quoin and Tim Strode (Krista) of Du Quoin; his brother Dale Strode of Girard, IL; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jerzee and Asher; and his pet Sophie.
