He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Jick" and Erma McClanahan (Richerson); his sons, Raymond Jr. and David Barry McClanahan; his brothers, Joseph Bruce, Steven Kent and Timothy Nils McClanahan; and his granddaughter Nicole Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Hermelinda (Garcia); his children, Penny Gray (Rich), Michael McClanahan of Decatur, IL, Scott (Edward) of Garland, TX and Paula McClanahan of New Smyrna Beach, FL; his stepchildren, Alfredo Alviar of Cicero, IL, Linda Woltz (Brian) of Romeoville, IL, Sandra (Tom), Juan Manuel Castenada (Kristina) of Mesa, AZ and John Paul Castenada (Dina) of North Riverside, IL; his siblings, Glenna Harrison (Roger) of DuQuoin, IL, Terry McClanahan (June) of Elkville, IL and Linda Stewart (Tom) of Robinson, IL; and his aunt JoAnn Siefert of DuQuoin, IL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
