He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fischer and Margaret Fischer (Smith); his former wife Jo Ann Mounce; and his wife Jo Ann Fischer. He is survived by: his children, Andi Benedict (Lance) of Normal, IL and Bruce Fischer (Kendra) of Herrin, IL; his grandchildren, Summer Fischer of Herrin, Emma Fischer of Du Quoin, Taylor Dahl-Simmons of Du Quoin, Jaiden Provart of Du Quoin and Landes Benedict of Normal; his great grandchild Aiden Stein; and his sisters, Sally Baronowski (Ski) of Henderson, NV and Cathy McClanahan of Du Quoin.
