He is survived by: his daughter Chelsea Gray (Dierick) of Du Quoin; his granddaughter Ember Gray of Du Quoin; and his siblings, Ruth Carrothers (Rod) of Du Quoin and Gary Wayne George of Du Quoin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
