She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Poe and Margie Poe (Jackson); her husband Charles G. Crispin, Sr.; her brothers, Mearle, Earl, Chuck and Carly Poe; and her grandson Cody Leon Crispin.

She is survived by: her children, Charles L. Crispin of Du Quoin, Norman Dean Melvin, Jr. of Missouri and Coreana Melvin of Mt. Vernon; and her siblings, Pansy Halls, Eugene Poe and Roy Poe. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
