He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl Pfeaster and Maxine Pfeaster (Blake); his sister Murleena Lively; and his nephew Bryan Lively. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Fann; his children, Susan Davis (Alan) of Du Quoin and Mark Pfeaster of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Nathan Lee (Amy) of Du Quoin, Matthew Lee (Bekah) of Creal Springs, Mychal Pfeaster (Mary Gail) of Pinckneyville, Dalton Pfeaster of Tamaroa, Hunter Bathon of Tamaroa, Emily Pfeaster of Du Quoin and Chase Pfeaster of Du Quoin; his great grandchildren, Logan Lee and Camden Lee; his brother Marlyn Pfeaster (Judy) of Dowell; and his close friends, Robert Bathon (Mary) of Tamaroa and Amy Harris of Du Quoin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
